Brandywine Communications Announces Next Generation Time Code Generator Featuring Revolutionary HTML5 Interface

TUSTIN–Brandywine Communications, a supplier of timing and frequency equipment for the United States Navy, Army, Air Force, and for the Telecommunications Sector and Aerospace Industry, have announced the release of the RTG-510 Range Time Code Generator. The RTG-510 is a revolutionary step forward for test ranges, featuring a wide variety of output formats to accommodate virtually any timing requirement. The RTG-510 also features Brandywine Communication’s unique and revolutionary HTML5 user interface, accessible from any browser, smartphone or tablet, such as an iPad or an iPhone, allowing it to be configured without the need for a PC.

The RTG-510 has been designed from the ground up for customers in need of the latest technology and precision time to upgrade their current systems. It features a universal GPS time code processor that is capable of outputting multiple time code formats simultaneously. The RTG-510 is a master clock that will synchronize to almost any timing input, (GPS, IRIG A, B, E, G, H, Have Quick, NASA36, and 1PPS), and simultaneously will output IRIG A, B, E, G, Have Quick, 1PPS, and dual NTP to your system. This versatile unit includes a 12 channel GPS receiver with a large 9-digit time display, and has dual redundant power supplies for reliability.

The RTG-510 comes standard with an Oven Controlled Crystal Oscillator (OCXO), but can be configured with a Temperature Controlled Crystal Oscillator (TCXO) or a Rubidium Oscillator for maximum flexibility, and has the ability to track incoming time code over ±200ppm to allow time code conversion from legacy tape playback systems. The RTG-510 contains dual redundant power supplies that are hot swappable for the greatest uptime and meeting redundancy specifications, all in a single 1U chassis.

The RTG-510 is the second of Brandywine Communications next-generation timing products, following after their revolutionary Portable Timing Unit, which raised the standard by bringing a modern HTML5 interface to Time and Frequency.
