FTM8000 Frequency Monitor
The FTM8000 Frequency Monitor allows local and remote high-resolution monitoring of up to seven standard frequency inputs against a reference frequency input.

The monitor indicates the status of the connected frequencies and the selected reference on its front panel. A hardware status port is also provided. Relative phase and fractional frequency difference measurements of each input compared to the reference input are reported at a selectable time interval through an RS232 or RS422 serial port connection.
The user can select which fields are to be included in the output message by means of a simple command. Similarly, unused inputs can be designated as not in use to eliminate status error reports and unwanted measurements.
The monitor allows problem frequency sources to be identified rapidly and designated for de-selection if required. The standard frequencies are 10MHz sine-wave sources but the unit can be factory reconfigured to accept 5MHz or 1MHz inputs. The instrument can be supplied with 50-ohm or 75-ohm input connectors.
