Octal Analogue Driver Module
The Octal Analogue Driver Module provides eight separate impulses to drive up to eight analogue clocks circuits.
Each output is capable of providing up to 1.8Amps drive current. Impulse frequency can be selected at once per second, once per half minute or once per minute. In addition, each channel has over-current, open circuit and fault monitoring. On-board changeover relays allow this module to be utilised as part of a Dual Redundant System.
-
Eight independent impulse output channels
-
Choice of impulse frequency on each channel
-
Failure detection on all outputs
-
Changeover relays fitted as standard
The outputs are galvanically isolated from the timing system chassis and include changeover relays for enable operation with the M842 Automatic Changeover unit in a Dual or Triple Redundancy set-up.
Each channel is fitted with a current-sensing resistor suitable for a range of peak output currents: 10R for Ipk = 40mA; 1R5 for Ipk = 280mA; 0R22 for Ipk = 1.8A.
Each channel can be switched off or on and then set to its required rate via the front panel.
The module also includes a tone generator that may be used in conjunction with a Public Address system. The tone generator may be programmed to indicate work periods or other key times for announcement over the PA system. Alternatively, the on board relay can be programmed to signal key time events
