Passive GPS Antenna
The Passive GPS Antenna is ideal for use in situations where the Timing System requires protection from EMP or lightning strikes, such as military applications.
Active GPS Antenna
The GPS Active Antenna has a gain of 26dB, and has improved signal reception over the Passive GPS antennas. By utilizing a suitable cable type, lengths of up to 150 metres can be achieved.
The maximum antenna cable length is determined by the attenuation of the selected cable at 1500MHz and the signal requirements of the Timing System. Please contact the Sales office for more information.
The GPS antenna is supplied with a mounting bolt, which allows the antenna to be easily incorporated onto to the appropriate attachment.
High Gain Active GPS Antenna
Recommended for use in applications where very long antenna feeder cables are required. The High Gain GPS Antenna will improve reception and overcome signal loss due to the cable attenuation.
This High Gain Active GPS Antenna has a signal gain of 40dB. By utilizing a suitable cable type, lengths of up to 300 metres can be achieved. The maximum antenna cable length is determined by the attenuation of the selected cable at 1500MHz and the signal requirements of the Timing System. This antenna is a form and fit replacement for the Passive GPS Antenna and the Active GPS Antenna. The GPS antenna is supplied with a mounting bolt, which allows the antenna to easily incorporated onto to the appropriate attachment.
High Performance Active GPS Antenna
The antenna is housed in a weatherproof package designed to withstand exposure to shock, excessive vibration, and extreme temperatures, rain, snow and sunlight.
The High Performance GPS Antenna includes an active 35dB preamplifier and has dual band pass filters. The band pass filters improve immunity to other RF signals for reliable performance in hostile RF environments.
