The NTA-100 is a small, wall mounted network appliance that connects to a central Network Time Server through a local area network (LAN).

Using the industry-standard Network Time Protocol (NTP), the NTA-100 accurately synchronizes its internal clock then outputs a time message once per second through its built-in serial ports.

Both RS-232 and RS-485 ports are provided. The time message format is user programmable and can be used to synchronize almost any device that accepts an "RS" type serial time synchronization message.

Management of the NTA-100 internals is by means of a built in web-browser interface. This password-protected web page allows the user to set up the text string required for the equipment to be synchronized. Time Zone offsets and daylight savings set up are also accessed through the same web page.

The NTA-100 is also available with a built-in GPS receiver allowing the NTA-100 to become a Network Time Server. For a more detailed description please request the NTA-100/GM data sheet.
